Q: How do I schedule my credential exam?
A: The step in your Certemy account related to exam registration has instructions on how to get your exam scheduled, please review this carefully to ensure no information is overlooked.

Q: PLA approved me to test, how do I schedule my exam for licensure?
A: Please email info@icaada.org  your full name and a copy of your approval to test. A team member will reach back out once it’s confirmed to advise of exam cost and set a time to process payment and pre-register you for the exam.

Q: I took my exam for my licensure and the PLA said they haven’t received it.
A: Please email info@icaada.org when you receive your official exam score report and request, we send it to IPLA.

Q: I need special accommodation for my exam, how do I do this?
A: Candidates needing special accommodations for examinations should note the accommodation requested in the exam scheduling email to ICAADA.

Q: I didn’t pass my exam; how do I reschedule?
A: For all IC&RC exams, candidates will need to wait 90 days before being eligible to retest. Each exam scheduled requires the applicable cost to be paid, even for retakes. Once it has been 90 days, please email info@icaada.org to request a phone call to make payment and get pre-registered for a new exam.

Q: I scheduled to take my exam remotely, and nothing happened what now?
A: If you scheduled your exam to be taken remotely and experience technical issues causing you to not take the exam, please contact the testing company, their support number is found at the bottom of your exam registration confirmation email they sent. If you are unable to take the exam due to technical issues, please email info@icaada.org advising of this and one of our team members will contact you to assist with getting pre-registered again.

Q: What is the Reschedule/Cancelation policy for exams?
A: If you fail to show up for your examination at the scheduled time, do not have the proper identification, or do not have your admission document, you will not be allowed to sit for your exam. You will be considered a “No-Show”, your examination fees will be forfeited, and you will be required to reregister and pay all fees prior to sitting for the exam. If an issue arises that prohibits you from making it to your scheduled exam, you may reschedule prior to (5) calendar days before your scheduled exam date. You may be required to pay a rescheduling fee to process your request. Please follow the instructions outlined in your candidate emails from the testing company to reschedule/cancel.

If it is less than (5) calendar days, you will not be allowed to cancel or reschedule your exam unless the following four situations have occurred: Jury Duty, Death in the immediate family, Military Deployment, and or Sickness. If it is less than (5) calendar days and the above situations do not apply to you rescheduling/cancelling will require the assistance of ICAADA to do so. Please send an email to info@icaada.org advising of the situation, and a team member will connect with you further. Please note that candidates who require the assistance of ICAADA to cancel/reschedule their exam will be required to pay a fee.
