CAPRC I-FS

The Forensic Support (FS) endorsement for the CAPRC credential is to assist the peer recovery coach professional with having additional competencies related to those with current/previous involvement with the justice system. This credential’s educational requirements are supplemental education to the education the peer recovery coach receives as training for their Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach credential. Applicants must be currently certified as a CAPRC I to apply for this endorsement.

Requirements to earn your CAPRC I-FS credential

Experience
  • Currently certified as a CAPRC I
Education & Training
  • 15 hours of justice involvement (Criminal Justice) specific education

    – It is encouraged the applicant attend the MHAI Stanley W. DeKemper Training Institute 2-day (15 hour) Justice Support training (however not required)
Fees
  • Certification: Member – $50 | Non-member – $100
