CARC-FS

The Forensic Support (FS) endorsement for the CARC credential is to assist the recovery coach professional with having additional competencies related to those with current/previous involvement with the justice system. This credential’s educational requirements are supplemental education to the education the recovery coach receives as training for their Certified Addiction Recovery Coach credential. Applicants must be currently certified as a CARC  to apply for this endorsement.

Requirements to earn your CARC-FS credential

Experience
  • Currently certified as a CARC
Education & Training
  • 15 hours of justice involvement (Criminal Justice) specific education

    – It is encouraged the applicant attend the MHAI Stanley W. DeKemper Training Institute 2-day (15 hour) Justice Support training (however not required)
Fees
  • Certification: Member – $50 | Non-member – $100
