Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Consultant (CADAC) credentials are designed to be entry-level, to advanced treatment level credentials (depending upon CADAC level). There are multiple levels to this certification based upon a person’s education, experience, and licensure (if held).

Professional Experience And Supervision | • High school diploma or an applicable associate degree: 2,000 hours • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree: 1,000 hours Supervision: The supervision of the CADAC skills domain experience may take place within an academic setting and/or within a supervised work setting. • All candidates, regardless of educational background, must complete a minimum of 220 hours of direct supervision related to the CADAC skills domain experience hours required for the credential.
