ICAADA wants all our professionals to feel confident and prepared for their competency exams to earn certification. In efforts to assist with this, below are resources to assist with studying for exams. Candidates guides that prepare you for the exam experience and the study guides assist with reviewing exam content.

ICAADA utilizes IC&RC examinations for the following credentials:

  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Consultant I, II, III, IV, V (CADAC I, II, III, IV, V)
  • Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach I & II (CAPRC I & II)
  • Certified Criminal Justice Professional (CCJP)
  • Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS)
  • Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS)
  • Certified Supervisor Peer Recovery-Peer Recovery, Certified Supervisor Peer Recovery-Clinical (CSPR-PR, CSPR-CL)

Examinations may contain additional information not covered in each guide so candidates should be sure to prepare thoroughly by reviewing the content section of Candidates Guides listed under these study guides for their examination.

Candidate Guides

IC&RC has developed Candidate Guides to provide candidates with guidance for the IC&RC examination process. Candidate Guides provide background information on the examination development and administration process.
