CFRC-MH

The Mental Health (MH) endorsement for the CFRC certification is to assist the family recovery coach professional with having additional competencies related to mental health. This certification’s educational requirements are supplemental education to the education the peer recovery coach receives as training for their Certified Family Recovery Coach certification. Applicants must be currently certified as a CFRC to apply for this endorsement.

Requirements to earn your CFRC-MH certification

Experience
  • Currently certified as a CFRC
Education & Training
  • 15 hours of mental health specific education
    • 8 hours of Adult Mental Health First Aid
    • 2 hours of Suicide Prevention Training
    • 5 additional hours of mental health specific training

Recertification
  • Every two years: 7 Mental Health education CEU and maintain CFRC certification
Fees
  • Certification: Member – $50 | Non-member – $100

Recertification Fees

  • ICAADA Membership Renewal – $100
  • Endorsement Renewal Fee – $50 for ICAADA Members| $100 for non ICAADA Members
