CFRC A-MH
The Mental Health (MH) endorsement for the CFRC-A certification is to assist the family recovery coach professional with having additional competencies related to mental health. This certification’s educational requirements are supplemental education to the education the peer recovery coach receives as training for their Certified Family Recovery Coach certification. Applicants must be currently certified as a CFRC-A to apply for this endorsement.
Requirements to earn your CFRC A-MH certification
Experience
- Currently certified as a CFRC-A
Education & Training
- 15 hours of mental health specific education
- 8 hours of Adult Mental Health First Aid
- 2 hours of Suicide Prevention Training
- 5 additional hours of mental health specific training
Recertification
- Non-renewable as the base certification (CFRC-A) is non-renewable. Candidates can obtain the CFRC-MH once they earn their CFRC certification.
Fees
- Certification: Member – $50 | Non-member – $100
