Job description

  • Responsible for ensuring that the scope of work and all contract obligations are met under INARR grants. Also develop review process statewide, serve as an expert resource on recovery residences, promote recovery, and seek resources to sustain the program.

  • Exempt (full-time position)


  • Identify, recruit, and train individuals to review recovery residence
  • Develop and maintain a public education campaign, including social media, centered on recovery residence issues and recovery
  • Engage in public policy discussion and advocacy to address recovery residence issues
  • Recruit, engage, and support INARR board members and committees
  • Engage new members and sustain existing members through membership support
  • Provide information and referral to individuals in need of recovery residences
  • Develop a long term financial plan to sustain and expand the efforts of the coalition


  • A bachelor's degree or higher in a human services related degree or commensurate experience. At least three years experience in community organizing or grassroots advocacy, knowledge of and experience with the statewide addiction treatment system, knowledge of and experience in coalition building. Must have reliable transportation for statewide travel. Must be able to work well with computer software systems for email and other communications, database development and maintenance, and website development and maintenance.
