Board Certified Substance Use Consultant (BCSUD). This credential is in a partnership with Indiana University and will be offered for students who complete IU courses related to substance use.

  • Student at Indiana University

  • None
Certification
  • Online Undergraduate Certificate in Addiction Intervention
Training
  • Module 1: H318, Drug Use in American Society
  • Module 2: H418, Addiction and Intervention Issues in Public Health
  • Module 3: B416, Health Behavior Counseling
  • Module 4: H350, Principles in Substance Abuse Assessment and Treatment (This is the capstone course.)

  • None

  • Applicants must sign the ICAADA Board Certified Substance Use Consultant (BCSUD) Code of Ethics

Recertification
  • 20 substance use related CEU every two years

  • Certification: Member – $200 | Non-member – $400
