President Elect - Louise Polansky, CADAC IV, ICAADC
|
|
|
|
President Elect, Louise Polansky, M.A., Sociology, Ball State University, LCSW, LMHC, has been certified by ICAADA since 1982, currently at the CADAC IV level. Louise has worked for the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) since 1979 and presently is the Assistant Deputy Director for Opioid Addiction Treatment Services in the Office of Addiction and Emergency Services. She has worked in various capacities for DMHA, including psychiatric social worker and grants specialist, addiction services certification officer, in youth tobacco use prevention, and at times managed the data section and the strategic prevention framework grant. Louise is also a Prime for Life instructor and an ICAADA Certified Prevention Specialist. For the past ten years, she has served as Training Coordinator for the ICAADA Central Indiana Regional Chapter (CIRC).

|
|
|
Gregory George, CADAC IV, retired from the US Army/Indiana National Guard Field Artillery Officer 1974-1999. Also, a retired Probation/Parole Officer from 1981-2001 Holding such positions as: Chief Probation Officer, Monroe Circuit Court; Asst. Chief Probation Officer, Marion Superior Court, and Substance Abuse Counselor III, Indiana Dept of Correction. Greg has worked in the field of Addictions since 1981, and has been working independently (private practice) since June 1996. Currently he serves as the president and CEO of G.R. George and Associates which provides services as Serenity Counseling Center in Greenwood Indiana and Phoenix Treatment Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Secretary, Amy Schoettmer, CADAC IV, has 19 years of experience in the field having worked in Ohio, Colorado and now Indiana. She graduated with a BSW from The Ohio State University and currently works as counselor for Serenity Counseling Center in Greenwood, IN.

Treasurer - Alan Bobbett, CADAC IV, ICAADC

|
Treasurer Alan Bobbett, BA, Biblical Studies, currently working on MA, Counseling from Freedom Seminary is a CADAC IV. Alan is an ordained minister, and the Director of Wheeler Mission Ministries Hebron Center, a faith based residential recovery program for men, located in Bloomington, IN. Alan has been in the field since 1993, and runs a network of support groups throughout Indiana as well as the Hebron Center. Wheeler Mission Ministries has operated both a men’s homeless shelter and a center for women and children in Indianapolis since 1893. Our URL is www.wmm.org
