Inactive Membership is available by application to the ICAADA Board to current ICAADA members who become incapable of continuing to perform counseling duties due to disability and to members over the age of 62 who are no longer working in the addiction field. Individuals who meet either of these criteria may apply to the Board for this designation and must attest that they are no longer working in the addiction field.  The individual will maintain certification by paying (25%) twenty-five percent of the current costs for certification.  Inactive Members have no dues.
