Certified Addiction and Drug Abuse Consultant II (CADAC II) is a clinical credential recognized by the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction and by the International Credentialing and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) and IC&RC affiliated states and countries which offer the IC&RC Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADC) credential. CADAC II requires 4,000 hours of supervised addiction counseling experience. Up to 1,000 hours of the experience required for CADAC II may be waived if the applicant has a college bachelor's degree or higher in human services from an accredited college or university, or a minimum of three-years experience in a recovery support program.
